PR Online - Social Media Toolkits

by Eric Eggertson on December 19th, 2006

Toronto public relations veteran David Jones shares the toolkit of online resources he finds most useful.

DavidJonesTake a look at how he uses the “stats” tag in del.icio.us.

Disadvantage - others can look over your shoulder if they can figure out your account name and want to see what you’re researching.

Advantage - you can pull up specific information no matter where you are or whose computer you’re on, as long as you can get to the Internet.

deliciousIs there a list of PR tools online that you want to share with others? Leave a comment below, or send me an e-mail at eggertson (at) gmail.com.

Take-away: Browse through some of the tags in del.icio.us, and consider the possibilities for organizing the tidbits of information you find in your web travels. Think of possible uses for your work group, or your organization.
