Quick Tip: Include Lowest Common Denominator of Contact Info

by Eric Eggertson on June 25th, 2007

It’s not that difficult to ingrain visual identity standards into everything an organization does.

Quick Tips

So why do I still find PDFs littering the universe without effective contact information?

Decide what your lowest common denominator is for contact information - a company name, a web address, a phone number, a street address, all or none of the above…

Then build it into the beginning template for everything you create or distribute. Sneak it into the "Properties" of your documents and PDFs. Make an e-mail signature mandatory.

It’s that simple.

If you have a regular print shop, offer them a prize for every time they spot a job that doesn’t have the lowest common denominator on it. Double the prize if they spot it before the job is printed.
